Scaphism – the most horrible method of torture and execution in history

Scaphism was an ancient Persian method of execution and torture used during the Achaemenid Empire (modern-day Iran). It involved trapping the victim between two boats or shells, with their head, hands, and feet protruding. The victim was then left to rot, exposed to the elements, insects, and scavenging animals.
